Spending the night under the Kalahari skies. 4000 hectares and 15 dunes!

The world turns red.  We're approaching the beautiful Kalahari.  Red dunes and grassy planes.  Up and down over a thousand dune-hills.  At about 6 we arrive at the Red Dunes Camp of Dr Pieter Liebenberg on his farm Tranendal  -  covering 4000 hectares and 15 dunes!

Great place to spend a last night in Namibia!

Windhoek Lager and Hunters Gold while waiting on the beautiful sunset.

The sun and moon switching places.

Where we spent the night.Right there!  On top!

Just us!  In the whole wide world!

Beautiful ablutions.

Back at the farm we happily pay the $100 after having spent the night at a $1 000 000 location!

And then it's time to return to Windhoek. No luck stopping at the Hardap dam since everything is under contruction.  And the Honey Bee coffee shop in Rehoboth is not to be found.

But all in all, 2 happy souls spent a last night in Windhoek before returning home - which now seem to be so far away, so cold, and so very small!
