Keetmanshoop. Trees and stones and a shiny white Hilux.

On to Keetmanshoop.  Past a herd of springbok, oryx, ostriches and zebras.   In Keetmanshoop we enjoy a lovely lunch at the Central Lodge.  And again I feel so very at home with everything being so very Afrikaans!

Afterwards we stop at the semi-open Tourist Office and   return to a shiny bright white Toyota Hilux, almost unrecognizable!!  Almost a little disappointed that the whole 4-week-experience of fun and dust has been washed away!  But again, so typical of this world where those who dare may just earn a little money.

Outside Keetmanshoop we visit the Quiver Tree Forrest.  A small hill and a big bunch of really beautiful quiver trees.  And I was so worried that we will be going home without having seen some decent quiver trees!

Then on to the nearby Giants' playground, a rather strange rock garden where heaps of stones are unevenly stacked like lego blocks.

And then on to our last stop in the Kalahari before returning to Windhoek.
